Painting technique:
Nea used several techniques to achieve the effect of a painting worn down by time as if it had been hidden in a monastery cave for thousands of years.

- 100% Linen canvas with an oil primer layer to protect oil colours
- 2 extra layers of primer made specifically for oil colours
- Oil, pigments, golden leafs, mixed media

- Dimensions – 240cm by 120cm / 95 inch by 48 inch
- Painting is numerated (1) and signed on the back

This is not an icon. - Nea says that her humble ambition was to create a big bright painting full of a special and vibrant energy, carrying a deep spiritual message within. - Fully encoded in a programming language elaborated by Nea.

Nea is unable to explain and put into words the whole process of her artwork creation, as she simply lets her hands move freely and they draw by themselves, using Nea's energy as a guide.

Nea says that she never knows what will appear on the canvas. She just trusts the process: - "At the end it turned out to be "A postcard for humanity", with an important message encoded within, different for each of us!"

We might not know why we are here, on Earth, who we are, but we certainly do know that we were created by someone Great. - An Engineer. - However we have no idea what He looks like and this is exactly what Nea portrayed in the overall painting's plot and story.

Nea invites us, the viewers, to read this message based on our feelings, intuition, emotions or even subconsciousness.

This painting was primarily inspired by Greek monasteries, by *heruvimi and *seraphim images as prototypes, as well as by mosaic art from the Byzantine era.
Several mixed media and oil techniques were used to achieve a similar effect.
The three characters are three *archetypes which represent a harmonious fusion of three types of energy:
Masculine, Feminine, and the one of the Absolute (The Creator. The Architect. The Engineer. ).


This middle character is an Absolute.
The Absolute has no gender identification, no well-defined face, no pronounced facial features, only a fine outline of the "face", a halo and a mantle. -
We can still try to guess His face though, through some play of the light and under a certain angle we can also see a luminescent crescents.

The Absolute's mantle though looks worn over time yet rich in gemstones and embroidered with gold, defining His high status. These shiny stones on the mantle are also in a way small mirrors, which do not allow the gazes to penetrate beyond the mantle.
*Seraph Adam may perhaps look a tiny bit young and innocent; but His power is obvious and overwhelming once the viewer establishes connection with His eyes; He is calm and confident.
His role cannot be represented by aggressive and warlike vibes, because His pure energy is much stronger and beyond. His gaze has the ability to repel any attack and turn any evil into love and kindness; it is one of His powers Seraph Adam is fully covered with powerful wings, turning them into his armour, into a shield. Yet, despite Her rank of a guardian angel and warrior, Eve is graceful and kind.
One may notice a small fact that Her wings are not as dominant as Adam's are. - Showing that women, since the creation of this World, had a secondary role in the society and hierarchy, albeit no less important.

Feminine energy embodies rejuvenation through acceptance, love and embrace.
Her chest is made in the shape of a heart, showing that the size of Her love is immense and emanated.
Her heart is open yet it's a powerful shield made of love.

*Adam and Eve's faces possess a very fascinating phenomenon:
- Depending on the light and the angle, their faces may literally transition from a "worn down by time" to a smooth one. - And then: From "non attractive" they go to "extremely beautiful".
- *This effect also depends on the night or day light and the whole painting glows at night with a certain lighting angle.

- It’s Highly recommended to create a professional lighting system around the painting to enhance its beauty and make it glow and sparkle.

- The painting has the "eye-following effect”: Eyes of the Seraphs seem to follow you no matter the angle from which it is viewed (even up or down).
- They look straight in your eyes and follow you everywhere in the room.
- When your eyes are below the original picture, the eye-following effect is even stronger.
